If it stays between 99.5 and 99.9 I am happy.

Unfortunately if it goes to 100.0 I have this compulsion that I MUST get it back to between 99.5 and 99.9. For one tenth of a degree! It's all in my head and it drives me nuts.

I got the temp holding between 99.8 and 100. What temp does everybody keep their's at?

I have mine pretty set at 99.5-99.6 f. One thing I did notice till I got more eggs on the racks, was that when the turner turned, I would get a 1/10th of a degree
difference. After I had 2 racks of eggs in, that stopped. Occasionanlly, I will see it at 99.8. But yeah, been dang rock solid. Just as much as my Brinsea which is impressive
I think.

I keep all my other forced airs at 99.9-100, but I know cabinets are different than tabletops.

Let all pray now -

Dear Lord please do not let my husband see this post - or there goes my England vacation this summer , Lord you know he has enough chickens and eggs and that he can not help himself with the incubatior addiction -- Lord please forgive him and me when I kill him if he get one of these Master Incubator things ..

Amen

Lol, I am kinda like A.T. and I see that 100 and I just had to fiddle. I really seem to have a compulsion with 99.6 for some reason lol so I targeted that. Right now, I have the honey spot.

I think we all kinda have our little mindset targets we like to see and hit. Sounds like you are right on your comfort level!

And of course if it's at 100.0 and I try to adjust it to back between 99.5-99.9 it will inevitably go down to 99.3 or 99.1. More fiddling then I'll finally get it to where I want it. A half-hour or more wasted for less than a half a degree change! This is the problem with digital thermometers. Just got to get it dead on and keep it there.

I keep muttering under my breath "if it's between 99.5 and 100.0 then LEAVE IT ALONE!" But, no, this morning I wasn't fully awake when I checked after just getting out of bed so I had to fiddle with it. Sigh... another half-hour gone getting it back to where I wanted it for a doggone tenth of a degree. "Leave it alone, just leave it alone!"

Well, at least I know I'm not the only one...

Lol! You're not the only one by a long shot. I am as bad about seeing 99.3 as 100! I have literally stood there for several minutes just looking at the thermometer full knowing I shouldn't touch it, yet a little voice in my head keeps telling me, this time I will have the magic touch and get it perfect lol.

I am starting my first hatch in the Dickey! Its always a little comforting seeing them hatch. Especially with a new bator.
