The d'uccle chicken

i have 1 lavender cock, 1 porcelain pullet, 1 golden neck cockerel, 1 golden neck pullet, and 2 mille cockerels. i used to have mille pullet but she got debeaked by another large foul chicken through the wire and ended up dying :(

i have 4 lavender chicks with porcelain heritage and I'm waiting to see what gender they are, so far they all look to be pullets.

so sad about your millie pullet. my guineas that my hen hatched ate half of her comb and chipped her beak up i had to seperate them cuz they for one chewed my fav hen up and kept beating my baby silkies up. i have 7 millie fleur chickens and 3 self blue. was going to get mottledandporcelain lavender and golden neck but i only could find one person selling blue and porcelain and only got blue

just found a nest of beautiful 10 beautiful millie eggs now i no were my eggs have been going:lol: might have 2 hatch them and see if i get some more breeders and show quailities have only gotten one so far that was not then again i have only hatched 4 chicks out of my eggs

are you sure the hen's werent sitting on them? if they were it might be a good idea to try and return the eggs to the moms

I took the (longish) time to read the entire thread of almost 600 pages, and got a TON of information. If you are really interested in learning about this breed, I can think of no better place to go! There are a lot of pictures, but they are often helpful in the context of what is being discussed, plus they make the reading go faster.

Great choice of bird, by the way.
