The DUMBEST thing I've ever heard somebody say about Chickens...READ!

Well this lady won't by my eggs because 'good' eggs (store) come from egg plants... (egg factored? Or eggplants? not sure but either way

My wife has worked with Chickens her whole life she asked me "Will these eggs hatch if I put them in the incubator". I said "There is no cock with them". she said "Are you going to answer the question or not ?"

when i rescued my battery hens one of my mums friends asked her, "so.. are they all girls then?"!!!!!! it is true people dont think about where there food comes from.. i think if they did more people would be vegan like me

Is this a for real story?
How old was this woman!?
Was she from the Hills or Jersey Shore?
xD
My Mom and I had a great time reading this, but we just find it so hard to believe that someone could be so "silly".

Here's a good one!

When we first got into chickens, our family friend who thinks she knows everything about EVERYTHING...
she told us that the rooster actually sucks the egg up into his body to fertilize it.
But she couldn't give me an answer when we asked her why he gets "frisky" with the ladies.
We knew better...poor miss knowitall

I grew up in the city and still live here. I used to in the summer stay with friends on a farm for a few weeks. I loved it!got to gather eggs milk the cow. That set me up for life. I have always wanted a farm but life has a way of getting in the way of dreams. So now I am 52 and have as much of a farm in the city that I can have. I have always raised my kids to understand where and how we get our food. When they were young we would go berry picking, I always had a garden, canned, made my own bread. My youngest daughter who is 25 now told me one day that she thought when she was young that all kids her age was stupid. She took it that all she had been taught at home every parent taught their kids the same way. When she went to school and saw how little most kids knew about life it amazed her. My DH who is a bonafide city boy is really trying to learn, but is set in his ways about things. I recently found a lady who sells raw milk. I got 2 gallons. The best milk I have had in a long time, but DH will not drink it. He says its not right and natural to drink unpasturized milk. Yes he is blonde ( now before you get into a tizzy about that its a joke) I am blonde too! We often tease each other about it. It is very sad that alot of people have no idea where their food comes from. I think an ag class in every school would be a good thing, starting at grade school level. Schools teach kids about books but nothing about real life. Technology has been a good thing and bad thing. America is getting fatter and lazier. Ok enough of my rant. One more thing I have 3 sisters and me. My oldest sister is a redhead next is dark brown I am blonde and little sister is light brown. None of us look alike. I look more like my SIL's. Genetics is a wierd thing or maybe my mom was a wild woman

Once my neighbors came over to see my chickens, and my rooster suddenly decided to have some girly love. I silently freaked out and picked up a random chicken, started talking about every detail I could think of lol. He was on her for like 20 seconds! Oh Lord, please don't let them see! I think it would have been gross if they saw (the woman had her 3 kids with her), especially the four year old

. Only Heaven knows what she would come up with!
