The Easter Egger Thread

Just passing through, trying to get a lil more educated on chickens. The pic. looks an awful lot like my Welbars

This thread is for easter eggers. It is kinda like a club. You don't have to have easter eggers to be part of this club, you just have to like them. Maybe this is already a thread, I'm not sure. Please post pics of your EEs if you have them! I have a lot of EEs, They are only 8 weeks old. I am giving some of them to my relatives today. In the end, I will only end up with one EE. I will get pics later. It doesn't matter what color or size they just have to lay blue/green/pink eggs!
Hi there, I have two EE and a kind of general question because I’m still new raising these pullets! They are 9 weeks old. One of the EE seems to have a more square shaped head, and her feathers always seem to be a bit fluffed out. Is this normal? It’s the one the with the gray top.

Those are some gorgeous colorations on your EEs! I'd love to have a grey/black one like Gertie!
Thank you! Gertie is such a goof, and a very striking pullet to look at. Looks fierce but she's not fierce at all. Always looking to get up high and then not really sure what to do once she's there. She's always getting snacks stuck in her beard, too. I catch Junie preening and nibbling morsels out of there pretty often.

This is my only Easter Egger- she is 9 weeks old. Her name is Thelma Lou. We got her at 2 1/2 weeks along with a Cream Legbar named Aunt Bee and a Black Australorp named Helen. Of the three, my Easter Egger is the skittish one who hates to be picked up. The other two are easy to catch and hold. I researched for months looking at personalities and egg colors — hoping for all sweet chicks. I’m thinking tho that 2 out of 3 isn’t bad. I still like Thelma Lou and hold her as much as I can. I wonder if she will ever come around though. A7BF0F58-F173-47B3-934E-7D5AA51A86F0.jpeg FF43BA1F-4963-4462-AC73-04585B8EC926.jpeg

I adopted an Andalusian who wad terrified of people, now she is one of my sweetest chickens. My young easter Eggers act the same, but with time they are starting yo understand. She will warm up
