My EE, Hazel, is famous for her double (and sometimes triple!) yolkers! She's amazing, but I worry about her possibly becoming eggbound! You should see the size of some of her eggs! I seriously need to get a picture sometime!
I'm no expert but they look like they are maybe 3 weeks.Mine are just starting to get thier feathers too and they are heading on 21/2 weeks today.Here is a pic of mine taken last night Rosemary is the striped 'chipmunk' chick and Ginger is the darker chick.Ok everyone, I have 4 EE chicks (hopefully girls, but we'll see) and I am trying to figure out how old they are. We have had them a week and the guy at the feed store was not sure how old they are. What do you all think?![]()

I have EEs and Barred Rocks and love them both. EEs will always be my favorite though. But the Barred Rocks are very pretty to look at and good egg layers and they do have good personalities.hi everyone,
we are getting about six chicks this spring, first time. we are definately getting some EE's, but was also thinking of a few barred rocks. any thoughts on this? thanks.
