Here is buddy my white EE she hatched this little guys two days ago she is being an awesome mama, and she is also my first broody EE im so proud of her.

You have some beautiful birds - I think both white/black ones are roosters.. I hope that's ok. I wish I had some hens with that dominant white/black look but those combs are too red to be hens at that age.

Thank you! Yes, unfortunately I think that I have three roosters of my six. The first one, and the two black and white ones, which actually is a bummer because I ordered all pullets.

I'm not too sad about the first one being a roo because he's not the friendliest, but the other two are definately famiy favorites, so I'll have to think of a way to break it to my family. I'm pretty positive that my other three are hens though, and I think they sure are pretty ones!

I posted a while back, but here are some updated pics of my EE. Her name (I hope is a her) is Kanaliha, meaning Chicken in Estonian. I'm guessing that she is about 3 weeks old, does that seem right?

That is a nice name, and those are female colors - so I think you are ok!

Just went out to the coop and 2 MORE BROODY HENS!Now i have 1 EE, 1 RIR, and 1 unknown breed all gone broody. Plus i have an incubator with 21 eggs in it. What to do what to do. O well i quess I am just going to have a bunch of chicks. Hopefully they are good all good mommies and the incubator works good!
