The EE braggers thread!!!

Im anxious to see these guys grow up
One will be white with one big black dot on here back.
The Roo is a pure Lavender Amercauna and the hen is a Light Brahma .
They are 3 weeks old now .( in pic they are 2- 3 days old )
There are 3 Lavenders but ones really light color im keeping
The other 2 are sold and going later today
 
I didn't even know that mine were, thought they were Americaunas........ and great luck, they all 3 are pullets and I love the colours! 11 weeks old today

I love them too Would like a white EE
.I might have one too in a chick i have hatched ....now 3 weeks old..Are they EEs if they dont have the cheek tuft even if DAd is an AM?? Not sure about a lot with an EE
 
These are my not so Traditional EEs they will have straight combs and no beard or muffs, Though they do have feathered legs and may develop a crest. These chicks are a cross between a Crested Cream Legbar Rooster x Silver Laced Cochin Hen. They are 3 1/2 weeks old now but only 2 weeks in the pics

I think if they have the possibility of having the blue egg gene (from their AM dad) then they can be called EEs. If they hatched from a blue/green they can be called EEs. Although.an. Easter Egger is a chicken that can lay any color of egg -so ALL chickens could be EEs

Interesting they didn't get the beards/muffs from their dad, usually the purebred AMs have a double dose of that gene, but stuff happens..
