It will probably turn black/gray. Beautiful EEs!
Beautiful colors....looks like an Eagle...My youngest EEs are getting all grown up! They are 8 weeks old now and look like miniature adults. I can't wait to see their adult colors.
The girls should lighten some and the boy will smoothe out. I wonder what color his beard will be as an adult. I think it may turn black like his wheaten ameraucana father's.

Ages look about right to me. Love the grey EE, have 1 like her, did she lay an egg early on...if so..what color? Mine just turned 6 months...waiting, waiting, for egg, just so hot!Hi everyone, I need help. I have two issues.
Number 1: One of my Easter Eggers is almost 6 months old. She has laid only a few eggs between 20-23 wks but it has been a week and a half since she last laid. she started squatting at 18 weeks and has not stopped. Her face and her Pea comb are very dark red and her hips have widened more than when she was a chick. Her diet is the same and there have been no scares to speak of. I have thoroughly scanned the yard with a fine tooth comb but she has not laid anywhere that I can see. Do I have anything to worry about? She is sweet and eating/acting perfectly normal. Any thoughts?
Number 2: Would anyone like to venture a guesstimate on the ages of the two pullets shown below. I was told that the grey EE was around 5 mos and the FBCM beside her was only a few weeks younger. No offense to the breeder, but I'm not sure that this is accurate and would like to know your thoughts. First time Chickie daddy here so any insight is welcome. Thanks in advance for your help.
