I usually have 80 to 90% hatch rate. The last three have been horrible: 41.7, 42.3, 56%. I too am wondering what's up with the hatching this year.I'm getting 12+ EE eggs in the mail Thur. I need help! Last year I has great hatch rates 85% but this year I've been loosing 85% of my eggs!! All of them have been shipped so I know that's one strike against them from the start. I've cleaned my incubators kept my temps at 99-102* and humidity at 40ish%. So frustrated! Any hints to a successful hatch would be greatly appreciated!!! Thank you!
I know! This is so sad! I wonder sometimes if the post office is playing kickball with my boxes and I end up with scrambled eggs!?!I usually have 80 to 90% hatch rate. The last three have been horrible: 41.7, 42.3, 56%. I too am wondering what's up with the hatching this year.
The "cochins" appear to be wyandottes as they have very clean legs. I believe your EE in question is a roo.
My EE who is almost 15wks now. He/she has made no attempt to crow, even with another crowing rooster here, so back to wondering if there's a chance it's a pullet. I love the colors he/she is getting.
Streeeeetch!!
Green tail feathers starting to come in, look so cool in the sun
If he is a he, the other 4 are his girls. You can't get these 5 apart, they hang all day together away from everyone else. 2 are light brhma's and 2 are silver laced cochins, but they all blend in together nicely i think
I don't think this was the PO's fault, most of the eggs were mine, had a lot of developement but dying before they hatch.I know! This is so sad! I wonder sometimes if the post office is playing kickball with my boxes and I end up with scrambled eggs!?!
