I got my first egg from one of my EE's! It's such a pretty blue! The middle pic looks about the actual color of the egg. It is so hard to take pics of egg color!

chickadee how old re your girls? Congrats on the egg, seeing everyone's pics of eggs is making me anxious for our to start.

Oh and it's official we have a rooster, I know technically we have 3 but one of our Buff roo's is starting to get his crow on!

It really is, isn't it? I have to confess to actually being jealous of my DS who gets egg gathering duties M-F --- I "only" get weekends. He loves it so much, though, it makes it a little easier to accept, lol.
