I have a pet EE rooster Walle...it started with 6 EE chicks given to us by our neighbor. It ended in 5 roosters and one hen. I was able to find homes for three of the roosters. The other guy is really nice to my hens so he's with the ladies. Walle was a little aggressive with my few hens (8 total) so we moved him into the barn with the horses. I put him in the garden on nice days otherwise he gets free reign of the barn all day. At night he goes into his dog crate "coop" that is on top of a wheelbarrow for easy wheeling into the garden! Oh what the neighbors must think!! Lol. Anyway, he is very handsome, become quite a character and follows me all over the barn. I still would love to find him a good home where he can have some hens of his own if anyone might be interested...

I love seeing all your pretty birds... and the names are the best! Just got my first egg from one of my EEs this week... they're 28 weeks old. I'd love to put a picture of it on here but my camera won't do it justice, for some reason my color is off on the darn thing and it's coming out brown on the photo even though it's a pretty olive green with speckles! I blew it out and made a nice ornament for out tree like they are talking about over in the Craft thead that Miss Prissy started. (Best crafty idea I've seen in a long time, too cute for words really.)

GreenCastle~ Thank you! A couple more photos as promised.
