Once I had three or four roosters in with seven hens. The most alpha rooster was the only one who crowed. The others defered to his status as being numero uno !

Does anyone else ever get tired of everyone saying that just because the chick is chipmunk in color that its an EE or that any chick that they don't know is an EE. I have seen so many people saying that every chick is an EE. I don't know maybe I am just worn out today but it sure seems that a lot of different breeds are being called EE. Sorry for the rant.
Welsummer chicks are all chipmunk. And maybe any chickens that is partridge in patterning is chipmunk but I am not positive about that. As far as filtering peoples comments, I trained myself to laugh on the inside and tell myself, "They don't know a darn thing." or "They don't know what they are talking about." Empty barrels are the most noisy.
Boy is my face red! The lady who gave them to us said they were two girls and a boy and I took her word for it. Guess I should have posted photos a long time ago in the name that gender section. I really wasn't looking to butcher again this soon, but thanks for the help!

You could hatch out a few eggs from each rooster to find out which one you liked better. Sorry you got 3 roosters. I had a hard time picking a rooster last year had to have one mailed from MI from another byc member,
