Hi all
I updated some picks of my EE's any guess on gender and aren't they turning some pretty colors
I think this one is a roo

I'm praying this is a hen she's my favorite EE

This one has me undecided, I hope its a hen and she actually has more of a partridge color but shows up more colorful in this picture.

So here are a few shots of my EE mixes. The Girls are EE/Wyandotte and Roostie (you might have seen him on another thread) is a EE/Leghorn mix. I made the mistake of trying to put them in with the other birds in January at the age of 9 weeks and they got sort of beat up. So we decided to keep them separate until they were as big as the other birds, but I think we may have waited too long. These birds have gotten huge. In fact we decided to free range them with the rest of the flock yesterday, and discovered that all 3 are larger than Colonel Sanders, our EE roo!
The bronze colored girl, Eleanor is, in my mind, the best looking bird in our flock! I wish I had a photo that could show the subtle tones of green and purple in her tail.
