The EE braggers thread!!!

I think my Stella is going to be feathered like your Cindy. She was solid 'gold' with black tail feathers when she was younger (she's now 15 weeks) but is starting to get black hackle feathers and feathers on her back like Cindy's. Beautiful birds!

I think she was about 11 weeks in this pic, she hadn't started getting any black coloring like she has now (need to get a current pic), other than tail feathers.

What BEAUTIFUL EE's!!! Wow! My girl is pretty plain but I LOVE her!!!

Here are the lovely eggs she gives me:

edited to add:

Lilly's peep picture, it's one of my fav's. It was her first day outside and after running around exploring she decided to put her head down for a nap. Her butt just didn't make it....

This was a little while ago. Now she's full grown and crazy cheek feathers. So cute!

And a nice head shot of Peanutbutter, she has a scruffy little beard just under her beak (she was hoping I had a treat for her)

Oooh, Easter-Eggers! Finally, I can show off some of my girls without worrying about them being 'hatchery quality'!

Our original girls were Easter-Eggers (and a black australorp, a RIR, and a mixed breed, but that's irrelevent), but I only have 2 of them left; Cub and Chickie. They all laid/lay very pale blue eggs with a slight green tint to them. Here's Chickie, about 7 years old:

(Don't mind the Blu-Kote, we were having feather-picking issues.)

I don't have a picture of Cubby, but she's mostly buff-orange with a gray tail and gray highlights here and there, and her eyes are dark brown.

We got a third, Merlin, last year. She was the last chick in a straight run bin at TSC so we figured she would be a rooster, but she seemed so lonely that I had to take her. The cashier insisted she was a Faverolles, but, uh, she's got 4 toes and is clean legged...

I don't have a picture of her either, but she's like Cub with more gray and has tan eyes with these nifty little lines in them.

I decided I had to have more, so this year we ordered half a dozen of them with half a dozen Barred Rocks. We ended up with 7 EE chicks, but 2 were roos, so I guess that made up for it. They're 9 weeks today, but they were 8 weeks in their pictures.

I love the beautiful EEs posted on here so far! Especially the girls that are black and white with a hint of pinkish-red in their chests!

Thank you! She, Rosie, gets so many more comments. I've had a number of people say they have her twin, or they want a twin of her. I got them from My Pet Chicken so it was just luck I got those colors
