The EE braggers thread!!!

Hi everyone... I'm joining the EE wagon now. I have Ameraucanas but am new to EE's and just got my first one last week. I am starting an EE pen with my favorite Ameraucana cockerel (that has pink legs) and some more EE's!!!

I think I'm joining the EE wagon as well! My Brownie is 7 weeks old and I thought He/she was a roo. Now that I've seen all these pics, I have hope that he/she is a girl! Last night, as I was getting ready to bathe, I heard a chicken SCREAMING and I just ran, I found a possum trying to pull her/him through the coop!! (Boyfriend was supposed to fix it that afternoon, but got drunk instead)...Idiot:he! I screamed at the possum and it ran. It hurt Brownie a bit, but I put her/him in my daughter's bedroom in a carrier for the night. Used antibiotic ointment and fed the chicken yogurt. She was fine this morning. I don't like to kill or hurt any animal, but if I had a weapon last night I would have used it! My valiant Miniature Pincsher did what he could, yet he could not access the possum!

I will make access! I will post pics soon for opinions on whether its as pullet or roo!

Hello all,

I have posted my pics to other topics, but this one is to show those who are EE'ers. He is a beaut and about 6mo old....and not a hen. He is already doing his roo duties (chasing, protecting, being one of the girls(hanging out), and the other stuff...). One of his less desirable duties is waking up the neighbors at O'dark 30. I, love it. They, not so much. Besides, there are not supposed to be roos in our "town". He has to go

I am possibly looking for someone to take him, I don't know if I can go through with the other option (until it hits the plate...). Anyone interested? I am just south of Seattle.

2 years of easter eggers and love the variety of colored feathers not to mention eggs. new color to me this year is what i call porcelain.
grey tint with white highlights on the feathers. i havent seen that color before and have a girl growing up. muffs are white currently 2 months old so alittle growing to do yet.
i had to decide to take 7 out and put them for sale and it is hard to do. planning to take to local flea market this week.
not the porcelain one though. great group glad it was started.

I wanted to share some pics of my 4 youngest EE. I got them at TSC and they got their chicks from Ideal. I was lucky enough to get all 4 pullets out of the pullet bin this time!
