The EE braggers thread!!!

wow! so many new pics!
Joy and sunflower are both stunning, sorry you lost Sunflower.
Luna has the best face of all.
mommytothree sorry to say you probably won't see eggs until at least 20 weeks - that's about the average for most birds.

ok here are the asked for pics of Peanut the new Buff Ameraucana Roo that is in with my EE girls, this is the group that my FREE EE EGGS come from. The black hen just started laying and is fertile (and Peanuts favorite), she is an EE from a cross of a Black Ameraucana roo over a Barred Rock hen - here babies from Peanut are going to be cool - those of you who have recieved eggs from me don't have any of hers yet

Wowee, I am exhausted just trying to read all the posts in this thread. I gave up for tonight but I'll read more later. I have about 30 EE eggs in the incubator, hatch date May 2nd

Rooster is a wild colored true Araucana and the hens are Marans. I can't wait!
I also have been collecting blue eggs to put in next, the same rooster but these eggs are out of my blue and black purebred Ameraucana hens.
Anyone wanting some chicks? I'm keeping a few but the majority I'll take to the Jacob's Cave swap in June.

Okay Katy, lets bump a couple BD eggs to make room for some from the new girl! Both Peanut and the new girl (BTW-whats her name?) are quite striking. I agree ... they will make cute babies! I w anna get first crack at that! I tried to get some pics today of the 3 I hatched out from you and MAN those little uns can be frustrating. I guess I will have to take them individually to an environment that is more picture friendly. I will try again tomorrow!

buzymom - prettysure your little nugget is a boy.
smoothmule - please post a pic of your birds, I would love to see your roo, what a great combination w the marans!
My little sisters farm - Peanut will probably be looking for new wives (and home) in a couple of months. He has heard nice things about Oregon
