I just love this thread! I actually don't have my 6 baby chicks yet. I am picking them up in 2 weeks and 2 of them are EE's. I can't wait. I hope I get green or blue eggs because I think my kids who are 3 and 5 will just love it. Once I get them, I will try to post a few pics.

Not eggzactly a brag.... but my EE hasn't laid more than ONCE in the year and a half I have had her!!!!!!!!!!

But I named her, so she stays....

But, hey, she hardly eats anything, either!

I have 5 EE chicks. They are all about 3 weeks old now.

Here are some select pictures. I wondered if they are sex-able yet.

DO the narrow hackle feathers mean roo? I love the golden color around their necks. I actually want one roo so I can breed them if I like how they turn out.
