Okay here's some of my 5 week old EE's. First the ones from Katy ...

This chick is from the now deceased Goldilocks. I think it's a girl, I'm hoping anyways. At 4 wks and at 5 wks.

This chick is from Red Riding Hood. Sadly, I'm thinking this one is most likely a boy. It is so pretty I wish I could keep it. I love the white feather on each wingtip. At 4 wks and 5 wks.

The last Idaho chick is one of Big Daddy's. I'm hoping girl. At 4 and 5 wks.

Next are EE's from evonne here in Vegas. 2 are EE/Barred Rock and one is EE/Rhode Island Red. I've been bracing myself for boys on the BR (pics at 5 wks) but the RIR (pic at 4 wks) I really think must be a girl. The Rocks are both very friendly but the Red is a squirrelly wild thang.

Well...?!? Tell me what ya think. Roo's or pullets?

I have an EE and I would like to know what you would consider this color to be. Also, do you think she is a pullet or roo? Her name is Violet and she is so sweet. I love her color and didn't really notice that she was bluish until I got her out into the sun!!

I posted this on a different thread and only got 1 response that said "EE are crossbreeds and are not given color names" Wow! She is obviously a color that probably has a name, right? The poster is obviously an EE snob because every post I see about EE's they always have to post something that says "Since EE's are crossbreeds and not a standard..." Yes, we know and we still love them!!

Here are my other 2 EE's. Cleopatra in the back - looks like she has black eye make up on and Lucy in the front Do you think they are Pullets or Roos?

Can EE pullets have combs? I have 2 that have combs- the other 16 do not. Or- are they roos? they don't look any different otherwise. Thanks!
