The EE braggers thread!!!

Here are some of my EE chicks! Can't wait to see how they look as adults. Some of them ended up with partially feathered legs, which is interesting. The Australorp crosses especially.

To save me looking through 80 pages, can anyone tell me if they have a rooster than produces chicks that look like this one?

I dont know if it has a name, but I have several hens with a brownish body, and lighter head and neck. My EE roo produced all barred chicks, (even though he isn't barred) and so I would like to find one that produces chicks the are similar to the color of that hen.

That is birchen? Hmmmmm I have a few birds with that color and didn't know what to call it. Thanks!

We have a 2 year old EE hen exactly that color also. We call her Eagle Girl for her coloring and she always looks like she's giving you the stink eye!

I am new to this and just found your site, I am a mixed chicken lover myself I think some of them have great personalitys, and looks. i have mutt as some would call it that looks really great I will post pictures this afternoon. Thank you for making my morning cup of coffee taste alot better with excellent reading and pictures.

the offspring get egg color genes from both the male and female parent, so what the hen lays will have an impact but is not the final say in the matter.
