Sorry, but that looks like a roo to me, not just the feather color/ pattern but look at that comb.

Do EE grow fast or get bigger than normal chickens? I added a couple to my flock a few weeks ago. My originals were about a month and a half old, fully feathered. The EE were probably close to being a week old. Everyone did fine, I suspect because they looked a lot like my leghorns, and were close to the size of my bantie hens. Now my originals are about 2.5, 3 months old, and the EE are half that, but they are just as big as all the rest! Is that normal?

Can anyone tell me at about what age EE's start laying eggs? I have 8 EE's and two are abt. 4 months old the others are abt. 3 months. I am trying to figure out when to start them on layer feed and oyster shells.

i has one start at 10 months one at 11 months and 2 a 1 year. For some reason mone started lating really late.

my ees feathered in very fast and grew like weeds. alwaus ahead my other chickens in growth speed
