The EE braggers thread!!!

I guess I meant more like my Barred Rocks are going to look like Barred Rocks, as my New Hampshire Reds will look like New Hampshire Reds. I realize that they will all have some differences as they are not clones.
EE are not like a "breed" of chicken that all look close to identical, that is the beauty of the EE

The odds are pretty good that they will be different shades of the "wild pattern" However, they can vary greatly in that patters, I am just guessing but don't think you should have trouble telling them apart when they are fully feathered.

I found an angry bird in my coop today!!

I was told its a private site and I don't have the freedom to express my opinions.even though I did it in a nice way, the purest are tired of educating people in the differences between a Ameraucana And a EE
and that is the main problem in my opinion with Ameraucana in General. They can not decide what to call project birds or birds that don't meet the standard are unwilling to agree lol

I call them the chicken divas on the other thread. Their chickens poop doesnt stink
it still gets stepped in the same way

Some chickens have a sort of powder type coating that gives a pinkish look to the eggs, depending on the base or real egg color I'm assuming that same powder type layer can create the lavender type look to it.

sometimes Ill get a Penedesenca egg with the bloom that gives it a lavender brown cast
Ahh so you did know his breeding ! My guess on the AM thread proved correct. I have seen posts of people using ameraucana x EE for egg color. It is harder to guess on these but possible. The hen/pullet is wheaten like but shows the influence of the EE hen color. The guess of brown red is wrong because of the color in the wing bay. On brown red it would be black (crow wing family). I will attach a pic of a bantam brown red male for reference.
now I'm drooling Jerry
