The EE braggers thread!!!

Do any of you have a cross of wyandotte and ee? Wondering if this would be a better cross than using a Buckeye. Trying to keep comb and wattles small. I have a cross of Buckeye and EE and no wattles hardly and comb but wondering about best rooster for egg production.

Thanks.

I have an EE mix that I am pretty sure is crossed with a wyandotte, BLR, but not 100% sure. "She" is only about nine weeks old,no wattles or beard, pea comb so hopefully has the blue egg gene, but yellow legs. Her comb has three rows of peas, but she otherwise looks like a hen, I'm thinking the rose comb cross made the comb more prominent? But just guessing here.

I have 6 EE's mixed with a SLW roo who all came out with rose combs. Three have beards, three without. All six have yellow legs, but one had darker legs when it was little. Here is a pic of a couple around 10 wks

I have one . Rose x pea produces a cushion type comb . Almost non existent comb on the hen and very small comb on roosters .

Ahah, so cushion comb it is. I agree that it is almost non existent on the pullets, though they did seem to pink up a bit faster than others. Is there any chance that any of these held on to the blue egg gene?
