Sweet! Boy, that hen can sure get flat; looks like she was trying to cover two dozen eggs!

They are the best mamas. I never have an issue with them accepting chicks. I had one hatch 9 LF chicks.

Here is my 3 week old Serama X EE next to a day old LF chick.

With serama you usually are starting to get an idea about sex by now, but the pea comb is throwing me off.

I'll post pictures of body in another week or so after more feathers come in.

What color were the parents?

I don't know about the parents. I got it as a hatching egg. I'll ask the lady I got it from.
As a day old chick it was grey with a gold head.
Now it is white and grey with gold leakage on the wings and more coming in on the shoulders.

Color and behavior seem to both be pointing to boy

That does point to male. Females can be either gold base or silver base, but not both.

So the dad is silver, carrying gold. And the mother is a gold base color with a blue gene. No sexlinking. I do think the chick is probably male, with that gold coloring in addition to the silver.
