Here are some 3 weekers! Wondering if you have any guesses as to grown-up looks or if you spot any roos! These guys are my faves! Esp. Large Marge!

I also have an EE gender question. This is Silver who is 5 weeks old. She is the prettiest of my six chicks, but her comb seems pretty red. I am sure hoping that she is not a he. I have used a close up thinking that would be easier to see. Thanks.

amarie, they all look like beautiful girls to me, it there is a boy in there you will know in the next week or two.
fluffbeak, from that pic my guess would go either way,do you have a shot that includes legs and saddle feathers?
eta: amarie, beautiful kids too!

DO you REALLY think Lil' nugget is a boy? We were told that the store (place that my brother in law runs) only ordered hens. I mean I'm sure mix ups happen...lol. OH well it doesn't really matter too much...except my 10 yr old is going to be surprised (she picked that one out).

A question though...does it matter if you have more than one rooster? I don't want to have to get rid of one of the kids' fav due to too much "male" hormones...LOL

Thankx!

well, yes that's my guess . . . but look on the bright side; there's a 50% chance of my being wrong! lol! In regards to the more than one roo question each situation is different. If it comes to it that you decide yo need to get rid of one, by that time you won't mind getting rid of him! But many people have flocks with more than one roo in them.
