This is how I found out about the birds. He only lives about 35 miles away from me. All in all I got four turkeys, four hens and three peafowl from him. I also took the evil turkey at the end of the vid and he has turned out to be a sweet boy. He sure didn't like him though.

Here is my 2 EE's. We can't tell them apart, as a chick we could because the chipmunk color was a little different on the top of the head. Now half grown at 12wks they are the same. These are our first chickens so we don't know what these will lay or any of the others we have yet. Can't wait. Shannon

Ok, I have to brag about my old EE girl, and I mean OLD! She's 7 years old and she's still laying regularly. In fact she's one of 2 who are laying right now! The other is a Wyandotte who took a big broody break to raise a chick. Every once in a while I get an egg that has a shell defect at the pointy end, a small hole. She's the queen of the flock and super smart. She'll peck at the back door if she wants something or if the coop door blows shut. She also knows to stay out of the garden and is trustworthy enough to be allowed out unattended. I love EEs.
