The EE braggers thread!!!

If I am not mistaken, the Silver Penciled Rock is "Partridge" in pattern except that it's silver instead of the colors of the pretty girl above. But that way it's easier to look and see what the pattern is.

I LOVE the partridge color picture on Murray McMurray's picture of the Partridge wyandotte! I will even go get it, brb

I love this picture, I have wanted some ever since I saw this picture as a kid! I am afraid that the real thing will not look this good! I did some research and apparently you have to keep 2 or 3 different flocks, something about good hen-breeding, etc?

Anyway, back to E.E.s, I dream of partridge Wyandotte Easter Eggers! Wouldn't that be pretty!

Thanks.

My EEs lay blue eggs only except for one minty green. A couple of the blue is really more a stoney gray, but for classification I think that's blue becaus it sure isn't green.

The second row from the top is an Olive Egger and those are all her eggs, the whole row- prior to molting- she ran out of Marans stain and her blue eggs are revealed. Bottom corner are hers too, after molting, they have been very stable. I don't know if molting is related, but that is how it happned.

The others of course are Marans.
