I haven't decided yet whether to keep them because I'm also working on another Olive Egger project. They would mostly breed true because their phenotype, the Blue Copper, is dominant - with the exception of the fact that the blue does not breed true (keeping in mind the B/B/S rules). One or both is probably also carrying the recessive Wheaten from the mother. So, while they would not breed true 100%, the outcomes should be pretty predictable.

Very nice EE's everyone. M to the Maxx, as much as I, ahem, am not enjoying being brought up enough to make Medicine Man dislike me, I love your crele Easter Egger hen. Gosh, have I never seen a true Crele colored EE!

I should get some photos of my EE's sometime soon again. . . They're growing like weeds, and due to lay pretty green eggs any week now.

Thank you! I love that all the EE's I have seen have all been such wonderful colors, different tones, mixes and patterning of the colors. The closer you look, the more amazing details you see.

All these pics of all these adorable fluffy cheeks is making me crazy! They are sooo cute! I don't think colors matter at all when the outcome is these super fluffy, oh so adorable CHEEKS!!! I can't get enough of them! The pretty eggs are just icing on the cake.

And Illia, I too have enjoyed many of your discussions on genetics! Especially on the ameraucana thread. We learn by discussing things and I have learned quite a bit from you over the last year! Nobody should ever hate anybody because they have a strong opinion and feel passionate about a subject.

I truly think that is all it was. No hate here on BYC!
