SunnyD, Ecuador does sound really nice, 'specially if they are a "chicken friendly" group of people. I have traveled the whole length of Central Amer. and parts of SA and one thing I did notice was the great abundance of chickens- all shapes and sizes! And yes, politics and policies are always a very touchy subject. It is a fact tho that there is some things that are definately wrong in this country and it is a very small percentage of those of retirement age that can afford to retire and still make ends meet. Anywhere south of the US border the US $ still goes a long way and there are "safe" areas to be found with sizeable populations of Americans that have relocated for retirement reasons. BTW, I am not a she but a he. Really no way of knowing that by my username on BYC.
Also congrats on your first EE egg Jennifersmith326, hope there are many more to follow! Likewise to those that have eggs hatching. Has been so much rain here lately that I can't get a thing done outside so am not quite finished with my breeding pens. Then eggs for the 'bator!!
