My 2 EE laid at 25 and 26 weeks old. The 25 week one lays 5-6 a week. She took 3 weeks off this winter. The 26 week one lays 6-7 a week and only took 1 week off this winter. Both are 15 months old now.
Just got my first EEs with this year's batch. They're juveniles now so still in the small coop/run. I had just gotten a rooster and his crowing made them all run into the coop. They're looking saying "What's that racket?"
Here are some outside.
I had 10 but one was a cross beak, and she wasn't getting enough to eat so I had to euthanize her.
I'll try to get pics of the others but it's difficult - they seem to be a particularly "chicken" breed!
This chick is almost 5 weeks old. Does anyone have any predictions about how she will look as an adult? Her baby picture is first, and then the current one.
She almost seems to have some blue in her wings. At almost 5 weeks, she is nearly all feathered but still a little mangy looking around her neck.
