This probably has been addressed somewhere between post #1 and #6430 or so, so please forgive me for asking this to those who have answered it countless of times before:

Please explain in detail the differences between EE's, Amerucanas, and Araucanas. I think I have a handle on the last one but would love a side by side comparison/description. Thanks!

I only know about Ameraucana's and EE. With Ameraucanas, they will breed true, meaning the babies will look like mom and dad. There are also recognized colors. Anything outside those colors or the Standard are EE. You can go look at the Ameraucana Breeder Club and look at pictures for comparison. I have some PURE ameraucanas that are EE becasue they don't meet the standard, like lacking a beard or muffs.
