The Evolution of Atlas: A Breeding (and Chat) Thread

I'm not saying to chew them out, but call and speak to the owner/manager, and them they're not doing all the trimming, and are missing places when they mow. My mother used various lawn services for over 30 years, on both her, and my grandmother's place. My grandmother had an acre too. There were a few that she stuck with for several years, until they either went out of business, or got too expensive. There were a few, over the years, that did thing like what you are experiencing. She'd call, and only speak to the owner/manager. A few times, that did not solve the problem, so she fired them. On at least 2 occasions, the owner had hired someone, and didn't know they were not doing their job well, until the complaints came in. They got it resolved quickly, and she used their service for quite a few years. In at least two instances, they had hired someone new, and when complaints kept pouring in, they let them go. You won't know though, until you call, and let them know.

Lisa, I may have to report that guy if he keeps going. For now, I hope he just fades out of my thread. What a nasty piece of work! I have never encountered him, but I've dealt with his type here. They don't stick around too long. They can't respect anyone with a different approach than theirs. They are *always* right and you are a fool if you do it differently than they do. Frankly, he's full of chicken poop.
CAN you pm me the guys name?

I don’t see any negative post.
I had a moderator clean up the thread for me. She removed all that mess.

You may already be familiar if you frequent other areas of the forum besides just my threads...apparently, this person is well-known to the mod squad.

Ah, I was thinking of a different member, who often seems to chime in rudely in threads. Their name has a breed of chicken in it, maybe you know who I mean. Seems there are too many of them around lately.
A few come to mind. Seems there are a few pushy individuals lately. I try to avoid those I have problems with, but sometimes you can't. :hmm

And it extremely ruffled my feathers how he was addressing Cynthia. A bit of respect towards people, especially those your senior, and senior members, can go a long way in life. He thought she needed to earn her respect. I couldn't believe it, but he has been disrespectful to others, so it wasn't totally surprising.

Such a simple thing, respect, but so hard to find especially on line.
