Sorry about the expense, Cynthia. I don't even know where the septic tank or drain field is here.
I got back from LI NY wednesday. Hated the trip home. I had that "what if I miss the exit?" Feeling.
I saw my sister who's recovering from a bad accident a few months back. I actually invited myself to dinner, LOL, and sister's SIL made a beautiful dinner, chicken marsala, hot bread and a beautiful salad. It was so good.
On last Friday I spent 4 hours at the outlets because I couldn't check in til 4. The hotel has a fabulous seafood restaurant next door and for dinner I had baked clams and a huge salad. The next day was the polish festival which was fun. Sunday I met my BFF for dinner and had a whopping seafood dinner of mussels and scallops. We were there til the place closed.
I also strolled a town in the hamptons. And went to this cute beach one day. Beautiful water, no waves, on the peconic bay. I didn't stay for the live music, darn!
I actually bought cannoli's at a bakery- bakeries are scarce out here in kentuckiana. I don't know why. It was a treat to go to one. And a treat to have a ny bagel!
In all I just did simple things just visiting parts of my old stomping grounds. Can't wait to go again. But kinda glad I don't live there. And funny, in 20 years nothing has changed except a few more stores.
