Oh, Lordy, I woke up to this comment on one of my FF videos. Good grief!

I can't even watch the rest of this after you are calling the CRAW, the CROP. It is spelled "crop" but it is pronounced CRAW. If you don't know that, you don't know much about chickens. Gees!

What the HECK is wrong with people? I had to tell her that, though some old-timers may call a chicken's crop the craw, that crop is always pronounced CROP, whether cutting the size of a picture or a horse's riding crop or a bird's food pouch. And this is why she won't listen to me, because of her misinformation she has about the stupid WORD? Gee. I'm all edumacated and ever-thing. I know word usage and I can even spell and pronounce words, albeit with a southern twang.

but, I have some friends who mispronounce certain words all the time. Doesn't mean I won't listen to anything they have to say. But, in this case, this woman is just plain wrong and making a stand on her misinformation.

Yeah, there is that. And rude with bad information, too, always is fun to see. I've never seen anyone spell "geez" as "gees" either, but that is barely a word anyway, so I didn't bring it up, LOL.

Mary, I just tagged you on a thread. Someone has a whole group of birds that is having issues and I have no clue. They "click"? They wanted to know if the entire group would have heart issues, but I seriously doubt that.

Well, we wouldn't want to confuse her with the facts, right? Sigh. If she'd just search "craw" on Bing, she'd get this. Now, they would not use the same word to define a word.

I just meant when you put the @ symbol in front of someone's screen name, it should alert them that someone mentioned them on BYC. I think you have to set it up that way in Preferences/notifications.
