Depends on how wide you make it. Now, my husband says he will never live in a wheelchair, infer from that what you will, but I had to use one temporarily when I broke my ankle so it's a consideration.

It really is a consideration. Even for just short-term use.

If you're going to go to the expense of a lift, might as well think of all contingencies. Like a walker. Can you walk into it with a walker? Will there be enough room to put a chair in to sit down on the ride with a walker on board?

Well, it may not be exactly perfect because those things are very, very expensive. I can't pay $5-7K for a lift. I can't get it from a lift company, either. I'd have to get someone to make us one. A true wheelchair lift is butt-ugly, too. It needs to be a cargo lift that someone can hitch a ride on if need be.

Tell him you may end up in a wheelchair again, and don't want him to have to carry you upstairs

I was meaning a cargo lift type deal. Not a stair lift. One big enough that you could use a walker, and get groceries, or other items onto, and get upstairs without having to work at it.

You posted a picture awhile back of one that was really nice.

I have an angry broody. She's a year old, out of my Delaware who also has gone broody, by an Arkansas Blue roo. She has always been bossy. She tagged me a few times, but this one split the skin

Yikes, broodies scare me. Mine get my plastic coffee can put over their head when I have to mess with them.

She's going into the broody cage tomorrow. And likely relocating to my neighbors house as soon as they are ready for birds, hopefully soon. She is an excellent layer of light greenish blue eggs, but I will not miss her.
