The Evolution of Atlas: A Breeding (and Chat) Thread

Today I was determined to wash his feet, dry them and apply more wonder dust. It is antibiotic stuff. I like it because if I get that powder on, then the dirt won't be getting to the injury. He didn't hate the bath, it was 94 degrees here today! One spur is off, the other one is hanging but I can't pull it off, I'll wait till it's a better time to pull it off.

How is Tom's back doing?

I just saw another good late-season flower - my neighbor has Hardy Hibiscus, more like compact shrubs, not big at all and they just started blooming. The blossoms are the size of a plate, and gorgeous! And if they grow here they will grow anywhere.

Wow, gorgeous!

His back is better on one side, no burning down that leg. The other side hurts, but he was able to roof the front of the coop nearest the barn that was leaking (had roll roofing that was torn, had done the back side, but never the front -shingles have been piled on the ground for years) and we put some shelves in that building in prep for taking everything out of the original coop so we can tear it down. It's still too hot to do much more outside, though.
