Alright, picture time! This is my box of fluff straight from the PO. Don't know which is which but all are doing really well. I can tell already we under estimated the size of our brooder. We'll be expanding that tonight.

Thanks! You do see a few Easter Eggers but I have no idea which! We're completely new to this! We ordered 4EE, the rest Wyandotte (2 columbian, 2golden laced, 2silver laced) and got the Meyers Meal Maker. I'm going to have to do some research and figure out which ones are which

I usually don't pick favorites, but this little bantam is SOOO sweet! My son named him Mumble.

Mumble is a cute name! We were leaning towards not naming them but our boys got home from school and our middle son immediately named two of them Scooter and Chipmunk

We have to name them or my son gets upset. Everyone deserves a name! LoL. (although when we raised for meat they all had food names) Ours are named Barbara Jean, Reba, Whiskers, Sparky, Zoltar, Mouth, Chica, Salt, Pepper, Gloria, and Mumble LoL

Those are aborable names! Where did Zoltar come from? I love it though!

I picked up 21 chicks on Friday. I kept 5 EEs, 4 cherry Eggers and a turkey out the lot. I traded the other 10(maran and EEs) for 6 two month old maran pullets. I have two 3 month olds who lost their other 5 buddies. So I thought it would be nice for them and I love my cuckoo Marans. I also picked up two silkies about 2 months old and a beat up Fiaumios (sp?). He's healing now.
On Monday I am expecting an order of brahmas, Phoenix's and a few production reds. I am very excited about my little EE's, I have one who's all white with black stripping.
