How exciting! I just found this thread, I hope you get some cute new additions to your flock! Do you know about how many eggs she is sitting on?

Originally 10 but I removed a couple of quitters and since they should hatch sometime this coming week, she's been chucking some bad ones..so only 5 now I think.

Did you mark the eggs, so other hens can't deposit more?

Yes, all marked with numbers. Numbers so I can tell between the eggs which will be good.

Wow didn't realise it's been this long since I posted gosh I've been insanely busy!Anyway, long story short, the eggs didn't make it poor Lacey, I felt so bad.

On the lighter note, fair is already next week and I hope to well document it this year! So get ready for lots of pics hopefully!!

Whew! Fair is a wrap!! It was an interesting fair but it went good nonetheless! It was my first year showing as a senior showman so super exciting! Also, I was able to pull away a second consecutive grand champion win in showmanship! Last year in the intermediate division and this year in the senior! So super pleased with my performance there! We unfortunately had some feather issues right before show so some of our birds didn't place higher because of that but overall we got multiple purple and blue ribbons, even with one bird taking reserve overall standard chicken! That would be Riya our Sapphire Gem pullet! And as a pullet that was fantastic!!

Wow, long post sorry but I'll get some pics posted later we've been incredibly busy! More fair news later but this is it for now!

Took some pictures today!!! Nice weather, sunny and around 55 degrees! That's the best it's been for a while, but ugh, Wyoming weather is going to kick in soon as it's supposed to be rainy and bad tomorrow, oh well...
