THE FIRST EGG MY CHICKENS LAID

Pics
I have four chickens. A leghorn, easter egger, welsummer, and black australorp. They are 19 weeks old today. Our leghorn laid the very first egg (from the whole flock) today. It is tiny (my hands are really small). I am so excited to finally get an egg.

Congratulations it is definitely exciting to get that first egg, hopefully they don't make you wait to long for the 2nd, ours made us wait 5 for our 2nd egg

I have four chickens, an EE and Buff Orpinton (21 weeks) and an australorp and another buff (14 weeks.) I got my first egg two days ago, I would imagine out of the older Buff, Chicky. She's been squatting for a few weeks now with a very red comb. She's my favorite chicken too :) My EE started squatting this week so hopefully the eggs will start with her too. My kids were over the moon!
