The fortress is nearly complete!

I live in South Carolina but am origionally from St. Petersburg, Florida. The coop is to be finished today-the flu bug slowed us down.

Yep, that is a fortress alright. A mighty fine fortress at that! I'd say it's just big enough for 2 or 3 birds

That's an amazing coop/pen!! I hope your hubby's buddies all give him pats on the back for that one!! Have fun, and put photos up when you've got your "residents"!!

Great pics! Love the nest boxes too. Those will be some happy chickens! Ofcourse my girls hardly ever did lay in the nest boxes, no matter how hard I tried to convince them.

They all layed thier eggs out side, and would hide them, lol! It was an easter egg hunt every day at our place!
