Oh yeah, he isn't very fond of me lol he never bothers the kids (still don't trust him with them) he adores my husband, but me and him have had our ways. He honestly HAS gotten better, now he is older and the testosterone isn't so intense He is fantastic in every other way, great with chicks, young chickens, and protective of his flock. He is even pretty forgiving with added roosters too.

I do trim them now and then. But I try to leave him have them for protection from predators! I do however worry that they will bother him or the hens. When it comes to that, Ill have my husband remove his spurs.

With the predators you have, I would leave him fully armed. Sadly he may need them some day.

Just so yins know the elusive Chica Linda is still setting on one egg. No idea when it's due to hatch. Or if it's still alive. But I'll let yins know, soon as the velociraptor, I mean Chica Linda moves her broody butt.

So I put the babies in the silkie run after everyone free ranged. They seem pretty comfortable together, so I left them in there for the night! Stay tuned for the morning announcements!
