Hi everyone. I've been a lurker over at Bee's hootie thread and followed y'all over here. I feel a little bit like a stalker so thought I'd say hi.

Does it say anything about me that when I go to the weather Chanel to check things out I see a duck?

Hey everyone! I have 2 broodies now! One is playing musical nests though, so I have been leery to give her some eggs.... The other is sitting on 3, and sits tight! I lost a hen today to a predator... not sure if it was something wild, or if it was Ratchet. Hubby doesn't think it was Ratchet. I don't know. She was torn up pretty bad, and something had been eating her. Ratchet catches rabbits and eats them, so it may have been him. But he has been doing so well with ignoring them lately.... I just don't know.... She was one of my favorites, but she was also on the cull list. She didn't lay great usually 3 eggs a week, and she had a pendulous crop. It is just disappointing for her to have gone to waste.

Gorgeous baby tomtomsmom! Makes me want another one.... someone smack me! My hands are full with the 4 I have!!!! I did find out at Easter dinner that my little sister is going to be having a girl!!!! I probably won't get to see her much though. I think I've seen my sister 4 times since Christmas... MAYBE.
Bee, how is the grandbaby doing?

BC loves to do her some smackin'!

Aliza has had some problems...doc says gastric reflux but granny says wrong formula. We'll see who is right.... Other than that she is fine. When next I get her out here to myself she's getting some buttermilk in her formula...we'll see if a little fermented food will set her right.

I have two birds acting like they want to go broody but not sure how dedicated they really are. If they are, I'll choose the most dedicated or maybe even both and let them sit some WR eggs.
