They don't call it 'nut bread'. I stand as an advocate for neutered banana bread.

Bread should not crunch with nuts. No nuts in any of my baking, yuck! And I make a fabulous banana bread!

I am on Team No Nuts. I don't like nuts in fudge or chocolate either. It's a big deal to make fudge smooth and creamy, not grainy. Then mess that delightful texture up with nuts?? Bah! Humbug! Same thing with banana bread.

I like nuts. Love nuts. In Nut Things. I just do not consider banana bread to be a Nut Thing. Oh, don't get me started about fruitcake with nuts....

But the great thing is: You do you! Have your banana bread however YOU like it!

It's been 5 years since this abomination and I'm still greatly upset about it. You no nut people concern me with your lack of ability to appreciate quality banana bread.

I already know I am a person of very low taste. I have come to grips with this in myself, and I accept myself as I am.

My dog and my chickens don't care. I guess after 31 years of marriage, my husband doesn't either. So please don't waste any concern on me. Scratch me off your list and save your energy for better things.
