My favorite combination is the 7x7x6 for the inner box and the 12x12x8 for the outer box. I can fit 18 eggs in the small box and leaves plenty of room for padding between the two boxes. 

How do you print a label for the 12x12x8 box on usps.com? I don't see that option. The only options I get are the flat rate boxes or regional boxes.

Yeah! Is there a thread for usps.com basics-for-newbies? I was looking for boxes and didn't find the ones I think people are talking about. But will look again. I like screen shots tho'!

First, don't select Flat Rate. Instead choose the weight option.



Next, select "Choose Your Own Box"



Then take it from there as usual.

Depends on the zone.

But with the #7 box not going too far, I can use lots of air pillows to keep the cost down.
