Well another post just to say that Grey Lady is better.
Yesterday she moved over to the entrance of the chick coop, so I opened the door, she promptly came out and started feeding as though nothing had ever happened. She wandered off but re-appeared pretty soon in the back garden and had a very prolonged dust bath. She then just walked back into the Brahma group and spent the rest of the day wandering around with them. She came into the house just once, when the roosters became too amorous.
Though not laying eggs yet her behaviour seems otherwise normal!
She is wearing her poultry saddle with pride today, seemingly completely back to her usual confident self.
Still not sure what happened, but we have our Grey Lady back (even more spoilt than before).
