It was the beloved media machine, tied intrinsically to the Democratic party who decides which questions to ask which candidates. Some get softballs, some get hardballs and some get ignored, because they just don't fit the script.
Besides how can you take a guy serious who looks like Barney Fife?

I am afraid that there is more than basic necessities in lieu of health care payments, boat, RV, summer home etc. etc.
I agree...Someone should have to come and plant my garden so that I can eat healthy organic food at little to no cost.

Ron Paul...good guy but way to whacky wanting to legalize drugs......thats way to far fetched to be president. He lost my support when he blamed us for 911......
Cause legalizing beer didn't stop the crime trade of the 20s an we didn't supply the Taliban an many other groups with money an weapons for years
hmm.png
Sure.....

Don't anyone go anywhere, I have to go feed some chickens. Seeing as I am their healthcare provider and can now tax them if they refuse to lay.

Can someone please explain why a national health service is seen to be scary? the NHS is wonderful over here, at least if you get sick you don't have to panic because you can't afford the treatment. The daftest comment I have ever seen was the one in Investor's Business Daily which claimed that if Stephen Hawkings had lived in the UK he would have been dead. This was retracted when he came back said that he owed his life to the nhs.
Simply because it's not straight forward. It is the intention of this govt. to load the system up with as many bureaucrats as possible, which automatically leads to logjams, corruption and fraud. It is already rampid in the Medicaid system. Doctors get shortchanged on their services and some feel justified in padding the bill to compensate.
Then, there's the perpheral businesses. Electric scooters, sold by the millions and billed to the taxpayer, home healthcare, equipment, etc. Who's going to do a followup on the care and equipment billed to some 80 yr. old with borderline dementia? Just one more layer of bureauracracy

If some caring private individual decided to check the bills and reciepts, do you really think that a bureaucrat is going to jump through hoops just to verify the mismanagement of a few hundred dollars?

Please...Please...Please...Rebel I would just love it if you were correct in just one statement that you make. It is the law in every state in the Union (exception maybe for the State of NW Georgia) that every public hospital must treat all patients regardless of insurance or ability to pay. Very small private hospitals that do not have government contracts (of which there are almost none) can refuse to treat patients.

As for Royd, the drinking water in North Florida causes those symptoms in a lot of people and like a rash on your rear end, he needs to scratch it every once in a while even though he may look foolish sometimes. Besides, for both Ed and Royd it is merely entertainment ( I think). By the way boys, I think you also cannot be denied treatment for psychiatric problems.

I guess I am going to have to repeat my warning.

Are you saying that this healthcare thing is not going to turn into another bureaucratic nightmare and political moneygrab?

When SS was presented, it was going to be a permanent solution to an existing problem....How many vote buying schemes are now tied to it...Children recieving money from SS. I know people in their 40's, waiting with itching palm, to be accepted into a SS disability program....So much for that vaunted "Lockbox."

Show me one govt. program to help the "Less fortunate" which hasn't turned into a Ponzi scheme with politicians and lobbyists skimming the cream off the top.

You know that War on Poverty?....I'm wondering when we are going to declare victory, defeat, or just bring the soldiers home and use those monies for something useful.

Have you read it? Awesome!

Please stay on topic. Follow the rules and have an enjoyable, calm civil, mature conversation.

Thanks.
