I did hear today that the 30 million of poor uninsured Americans are now being called non-payers or freeloaders and equivalent to draft dodgers when prior to the SCOTUS ruling they were what it was all about.

Yes, I noticed that is the new talking point buzzword for the left....Freeloaders...Funny how it only applies to those who decide that they can live without purchasing insurance..If it's about food, school, transportation, etc. they are the Less Fortunate...Funny how that works.

I have no issue with doing so, the people are paying me they are the boss.
I find it sad that you don't value your dignity and constitutional rights a little better than that.

The people who are paying you are the tax payers. You owe tax payers the description of your role, bodily fluids, and full medical records. The people who are writing the check only took the money from the tax payers.

We are on the verg of being without healthcare. we just can NOT pay for it with our employees. "The private sector is doing fine." REALLY!

Folks, the staff is really giving every chance to keep this discussion open.

It is up to you to stay on topic, stop the personal attacks and flaming.

If you want to continue this very important discussion, I strongly suggest you heed our warnings.

I guess if you have more than 50 full time employees and cannot afford insurance, you would have to lay people off.

You can either lay off two employees making about $30,000 a year, or one at $60,000 and you should be able to cover 1/2 the health care bill. I think that is all that would be required (pay 1/2) Or just switch employees to part time, enough employees to bring you down to the minimum of 50 full time which is when the law sets in. Good luck!

Casper, If all of your employees are only making minimum wage you would need to lay off a few more, but I think the best bet in that situation is to cut their minimum wage hours to part time work. I will take a guess that those on minimum wage are not going to be mad if they can only work 30-35 hours a week, instead of 40-60.
