Are your RIR from old purebred bloodline?

Hi Bob

I am mainly interested in the RC RIRs as thats what my grandparents had and Grandma was a stickler for not keeping any SCs. She had very good free ranging chickens, never had more then 2 dozen so she changed out her hens fairly often always keeping pullets from her best hens. So, working with the RCs is just a tie to her for me, and glad of it. For those who like SCs all well and good, I prefer the RCs.

Chris should help you latter in the spring or help you with breeders that he will have available this fall. They should do very well as they are from your region as well. bob

Glad to hear Doug won with his Rhode Island Red Bantams. He has to lines, one from the east coast and he has my line of Moahak bantams. I think he has three ckls and three pullets. What did he win on.? Doug does not get on these web pages. I have a picture of their cousins on another thread did they look like these? bob
