The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

Take cursed obscenities at the Borealan guard, regardless whether or not he would understand. He flared up when his wrist was abruptly grabbed, and he refused to be dragged by this authority figure. He twisted his fist sideways and jerked his hand towards his body, freeing himself. He’s gotta know where the kids are... Take swiftly shoved the guard up against the wall and pinned him with a forearm and a raised fist, “Where are the kids?! Children?! Brats?! Youngsters?!” he demanded with a wild look in his three eyes, saying as many substitute words for kid.
The burly guard stabbed back with his spear, barking out a few gravely words before grabbing Take’s pointy orange ear and dragging him in the direction required.

Aella had shrugged, collecting her clothes after he had left. As she stepped outside, a black figure behind a girl catching her eye, confused when she saw everyone staring at it.
She raced down to join them, stones cutting the bare bottoms of her feet but the didn't stop until she reached them. She approached the black mass, looking down at it. Twisted black wings sprouted from the creatures back, delicate ink colored feathers torn and mangled, ripped from place from how it was dragged. Long, furred legs ending in what looked like goat hooves stretched it to nearly seven feet tall. She knelt down beside it, dropping her clothes on the dirt beside her.
It's face was disturbingly human. Like a humans face but with fur. Wide, yellow eyes stared sightless at the blue sky. Dull. Empty. No glimmer of life in them. She reached a hand out, drawing her fingers over it's eyelids to close them so they no longer stared dully.
It nearly looked like it was sleeping, except it's chest didn't rise and fall steadily. Her fingers ran through the fur on it's face, the dense fur soft beneath her fingers. "Gone," she whispered.
“Gone,” Korim repeated, studing the clove of its foot, noting how clean it was, not at all like the livestock that Borealan’s raised.
“I wonder what it came from... whether we can find out.”

Hana eventually awoke, and rejoined the others just a bit outside the barn. She let out a small yawn, stretched her arms and back before she suddenly froze at the sight of the pitch black beast that laid limp on the ground. She noticed the prideful twinkle in Eve’s eyes that said, ‘I’m the one that did this’ and the writings on the ground that explained so. She killed it? This is a we-sa? Hana came closer to the deceased we-sa and unsheathed her katana, loosely holding it in one hand as she poked the corpse and lifted its twisted wing in efforts to observe it. “Odd..” she commented on its human-like appearance.
Eve smiled bashfully.

Kipp felt a hot hand wrap around his ankle, pulling him backwards. He let out a quick yelp, grabbing at the walls with his hands. He spread his wings as best he could, pushing the into the soft soil of the small cave try to get himself stuck in the cave.
Torin hardly was aware of anything that had been happening.
Yelling, whips cracking, and the sound of pounding feet all reverberated in his ears. He hardly realized as he was suddenly shoved up the thin tunnel by Kipp, Fred, Chion, and Noah behind him.
He winced as dirt crumbled into his face, stumbling forward in front of the others in desperation to not be caught again. We'll get out, we'll get out... His eyes were excessively wide from the lack of light, wishing someone would've grabbed a torch in passing. He glanced back, seeing Kipp get caught by a guard, and he hesitated. "Wha--" He nearly began his usual bombard of talking, even in stressful moments, except he knew he had to keep running even if Kipp was in the process of being caught, so he did.
Pell scrunched up her face, it sounded to her like Lilith was trying to avoid telling her what was going on too. Her answer was as vague as everyone elses. 'Something is stealing people, don't go in the woods or the we-sa will get you.' Pell fought the urge to roll her eyes, pursing her lips and frowning at the tree line.

Her eyes widened in surprise, when she spotted a dark haired young girl pulling a large black creature out of the forest on her own. Tugging repeatedly on it's limp leg to pull it through the grass toward them.
Eve glanced around, she wanted to tell them she’d slayed the We-Sa but she didn’t know how to express it
Lilith whirled around, eyes wide at the sight of the fallen creature. What the... "That's... That's the thing that was stalking us. The we-sa. You killed it, didn't you?" She could sense how Eve was feeling, and automatically knew her assumption was correct. "Amazing." They can be killed. We can kill them. They die.
Eve nodded. She grabbed a stick dropping the animal. She started to draw in the dirt, it’s the We-Sa. I can’t speak because my voice can murder people, I have no control
Lilith peered at the writing, nodding slowly, her eyes unreadable-- But she felt distrust rippling within her. Can we even trust her with powers like that? She could kill us with a word.
She glanced at the girl, studying her-- But soon felt a twinge of guilt. ...I should be the last person to think that. I know what it's like to be have a power no one can trust. She flashed a grin. "Wow, kid. Good job with... That." She jerked her head to the we-sa, slowly moving over to it. The human-like face sent shivers down her spine, momentarily glancing at Aella as she closed its eyes-- Apparently having more respect for the dead than the others and Lilith herself. It looks like a human; but it doesn't, at the same time...
She moved around it, lifting its arm up and taking its huge hand in her own dainty ones. Long and sharp claws protruded from the slender fingers, hooking into jagged knives that could easily rip one of the group apart. Oh God, I hope Kylan doesn't see this, knowing Torin's out there.
She moved to one of its wings, raising one up and inspecting it with dulled interest. She plucked a feather from it, letting the wing fall and eyeing the object in her hand. "Huh. They're like an eagle, goat, and human mix." She muttered, shoving her hands into her hoodie, staring down at the body with an odd expression.

The burly guard stabbed back with his spear, barking out a few gravely words before grabbing Take’s pointy orange ear and dragging him in the direction required.
Take felt the sensation of something piercing his skin, but paid no attention to it. He staggered along in the direction he was being pulled, but fought back again, throwing uppercuts into the armored gut of the guard in attempt to knock the wind out of him.

Aella sat back, watching the group and the dead we-sa with widened eyes. They were praising her. Praising the girl for murdering the creature. She felt sick when she looked back at the creature, biting into her lip. If no one has ever escaped, how do they even know that it is the we-sa? It could be something else.
"Gone." She whipped her gaze to the silent Eve, her voice firmer this time. She stared at her, before she collected her clothing, and stood, shoving her way through the ground and towards the barn, vanishing into the loft.

Eve blushed feeling overwhelming pride in her power for the first time ever.
