The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

Kevin slowly took a few steps towards the stairs. “There’s food in the fridge and cupboards, help yourselves,” he said, waving his hand to the kitchen. Once they were hopefully distracted, he quickly walked up the stairs and into his room, stopping briefly when he saw Lilith sitting on his floor. It was weird seeing her in his house. Now that he was home again the past couple months all felt like a dream.
He opened his closet, digging through and pulling out some clothes. Half a dozen sweatshirts, a couple t-shirts, and a few pairs of sweatpants. He threw the clothes on the bed, pulling out a white tank top and a pair of jeans and putting them in the bathroom. Once he was done with that, he moved into the room furthest from the stairs. The room looked like it used to be occupied by a woman, with lacy white curtains and a bouquet of fake roses. By the looks of it, it hadn’t been used in years. Maybe she left some of her stuff here, Kevin thought, opening the closet. Much to his delight, he found a few pairs of women’s pajamas, mostly nightgowns. He grabbed them, collected the clothes from off of the bed, and then went back downstairs. “Here, see if any of these will fit you,” he said, dropping them on the couch. “I’m going to shower.” He returned back upstairs and into his bedroom, glancing at Lilith as he entered his bathroom.
After he got out of the shower, he stared in the mirror for a minute. He didn’t see a difference from before he went through the portal, except a few extra scars on his arm and back, and longer hair and beard. He grimaced. He didn’t realize just how bad his beard had gotten until now, and with his golden hair past his shoulders, he almost resembled a Russian Fabio.
Grabbing a razor, Kevin trimmed his beard back into shape. Once he was done, he changed into the white tank top and torn jeans, leaving his hair down to dry. He was going to need to cut the split ends off, but right now he needed to make sure no one had set the house on fire since he’d been gone.

Aella was confused with so much happening at the same time, but decided to just go along with it. She knew there was some virus and that they were in Russia, not that she was aware of where Russia was or anything about it.
The smell of cinnamon lured her into the house, and she was pleasantly surprised at how nice the house was. It was very clean, minimalist, but comforting at the same time. This must be what an actually home on Earth is like.
She headed upstairs, unsure of which room to enter. Carefully knocking on one door and deeming it safe to enter, she opened it and found Hana sitting on the middle of the bed. "Erm...I hope I'm not intruding...I'm not quite sure where to go."

Kylan was sitting on one of the chairs beside the kitchen island, glancing up at Aria and giving a her a sweet smile as she came up beside him. "Oh yeah," He laughed. "we're still in Russia, and you're awake. Can you believe it? It's insane to me, I never thought I'd go to Russia..." He shook his head, glancing at Torin who was now running circles around everyone. "Or go to another dimension, meet all of you? I just thought I'd always be some kid from Kentucky who likes to draw, not... Not who I am now."
“I know! It’s crazy. I feel soo much better now I’ve rested.” Aria nodded in agreement “hey at least you and Lilith patched things up, when all this is over I will have some great new friends and a whole lot of memories”

Kipp looked at Fred, his hand being the only think keeping him from staggering around as the world spun. He hated teleporting, every single time was the same. There was no getting used to it. How do I feel? Sick but.... A crooked grin spread across his face.
"Happy. You know you're dead right?" He said jokingly. "Just because it turned out fine, doesn't mean I'm not mad at you."
“And just because your mad at me it doesn’t mean you don’t have me to thank” Fred grinned

The wave of nausea finally subsided, as the others made their way into the house. Kipp considered chasing Fred around in the dark, but the cold air on his bare skin was a bit too much for him, even if he was running.
"Come on, we'd better go inside." He said trying to fight off the urge to shiver.
“Uh huh” Fred was smiling teasingly at him

Lilith glanced at him each time he walked by, having been humming softly to Tru who laid in her lap, only resuming again after he left her sight once more. She'd known the song for about a year now, taking it's words to heart as she learned it.
She thought absently as she petted her dog, noting how odd it was to be here. She could hear Torin squealing downstairs, and Kylan's laugh.
She planned to leave as soon as the pandemic let up, hating the thought that she was some burden to Kevin and not ever wanting to make him bitter towards her presence. She didn't assume he would, him having always been so kind to her, but... She could never be too cautious.
Where'd she'd go after that, she had no idea. Maybe a shelter until she could work up enough money at a restaurant to pay her fees and get her belongings back so that she could work on photography once more and get another apartment for the time being.
She could always stay with the Archer's, Mrs. Archer having always said Lilith was like a second daughter to her, and her husband being her father's best friend. But living that close to her mother... Seemed unwise.
She sighed, stopping her humming as she hugged Tru a little closer to her chest. It'd be hard for her, but she'd managed. She'd been in worse situations before, and she'd make do. Hopefully. But she had until Kevin needed them gone at least, so maybe, just maybe she could get some peace until then.

Charlie kneeled down to look Alex in the eye. “No more communism today.” He intoned. Alex nodded sulkily. Charlie grinned and ruffled his hair. His brother gave him a cheeky smile and dashed off, no doubt to confer with his fellow communists.
Charlie figured out where the bedrooms were and trudged up the stairs. Finding an unoccupied room, he collapsed in the bed and was asleep within minutes.

Kipp stepped through the door, greeted by Kevin's back as he yelled to the crowd about food, and then seeing him dash up the stairs. He peeked his head around the partition wall looking in to the living room where Colby was peering out the window. He seemed to be the only one who knew what to do with himself, everyone else standing around chatting.

The growing warmth of the inside from the newly lit fire was extremely inviting. "I'm just gonna," He started to say pointing at the fireplace and looking up the stairs. Kevin likely couldn't hear him, so he made his way over to the fireplace kneeling down on a rug in front of it instead of on the couch. Warming his hands and watching everyone else.

Kylan laughing, smiling. "Heh, yeah. I got cleaned up at the elves' place, so I'm good. Should probably sleep soon, though."
He nodded, glancing around at everyone. "I had never known what happened to Lilith, but I understand her situation now, and I'm glad she's my friend again. I don't remember the last time she was this happy, or had friends. You two are planning on keeping in touch, right?" He said.
He looked around, spotting Torin now with Colby and Noah. "And me? I've gained some of the best friends in the world, you and Kevin, Lilith, everyone? You're all so great. And we've all got some dope memories together. Seems Torin made himself some friends, too."

“Hi there,” Cam said, kneeling beside him. Her dress splayed around her, pale against her dark skin in the flickering firelight. “It’s good to be home.” Even if it’s not home. At least it’s Earth. At least I don’t have to worry about when I’m going to eat next or being eaten myself.
