The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

Blair spun around, a piece of paper being thrust into her grasp. Her gaze flickered over it rapidly, before somebody screamed, and Ellie was glaring at Take, adamant about helping. "Everybody stop," she snarled, a pit of dread in her stomach, terrified something was looming behind her. "No, you can't kill the creatures. Chances are somebody isn't going to listen and get themselves killed. No offense, thanks though." Her reply to Eve was short, her patience slipping with everybody not listening.
"Ellie, you will listen to Take, do you understand?" Her gaze flashed golden for a brief moment. Snap. Snap.
Twigs snapped behind her, and she tensed, but didn't turn around. "Now..." There was definitely hot air running down her neck, but when she glanced over her shoulder, nothing was there. "Is everything clear? No touching or harming the creatures, yes, I know they're scary but they seem harmless. No running off and please listen. Are my words clear or would like me to repeat them once more?"
Take was focused on the two massive cats, he didn’t know what exact ones they were, mountain lions, pumas, or cougars. They were just huge. One of them has to be Haddie though.. but damn, to have one as a pet or something? That’s pretty cool.
He suddenly felt something snake up his arm and coil around it tightly. It was like a wet, cold rope or something. His arm instantly heated up and slapped it in attempt to get rid of it, but he just ended up slapping himself. Whatever was there just vanished. He messed up his face in confusion, despising how unpleasant it felt.
“We really need to get out of these woods, I feel like I’m imagining things..” he growled, “I don’t think those kids are anywhere near us..”

“Sure” came Freds reply. “ALRIGHT EVERYONE. I NEED YOU TO STAY TOGETHER, IF YOU DO NOT THERE IS A HIGH CHANCE YOU WILL GET EATEN. DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR.” Fred’s shrill voice bounces off the trees. “Kipp, Fred, Take, Blair what’s happening-“ Ellie stopped mid sentence spotting the creepy creatures behind them. “Do you need me to help hold them off?” She offered “my lasers can create a wall for a short amount of time”

Fred’s eyes rolled into the back of his head and he collapsed. “Oh?! Really Fred? Now?!” Ellie rolled her eyes
Kyle made the small contribution of waving his hand over Fred’s face.

There was something constantly breathing down the back of Blair's neck, the breath heavy and hot. But everytime she turned around, nothing was there. She murmured an agreement to Take's words, nodding. "If they were, they would have heard us by now."
She approached the front, looking between the cougar at the new guys side and Haddie as a cougar. "Everything okay up here?"

Haddie looked at Blair, her eyes wide in confusion. Of course everything's not ok, who the **** is this guy? However, while Blair could seemingly understand dogs she probably couldn't pick out specific words from cats, so Haddie rolled her eyes exasperated and faced the strange cougar and man again.

Blair sighed. Haddie had obviously tried to say something to her, but she couldn't understand a word she said. She looked between the two cougars, and came closer to Haddie. "It's okay, Haddie," she glanced at the man, wondering if he had some sort of control over the cougar. "I think this guy has control over him." She didn't smell any bad intent or anger from either feline or man, mainly confusion.

Lilith's prosthetic arm twitch, something that happened whenever she was highly nervous due to her chip getting over-loaded. "I saw us, again. Through the creature's eyes, it's... Dangerous."
When she turned, the immediate thing she saw was Kevin with a young boy, slack in his arms. "What the..."

Lilith crouched next to them, hands shaking. "Kylan! Water." She snapped, and he didn't protest, simply tossing her one from his backpack.
She lifted Fred's head so water didn't go up nose, before dumping the still-cold liquid on his head to wake him up. "C'mon, c'mon, not now. Wake up!" Always worked on me.

Fred groggily sat up. “Wha....” he looked confused, “where am I?” He asked

Kevin raised an eyebrow as Fred was doused in water. Hey, at least it worked. He thought. He stood up and offered his hand to Fred. “I’m sorry, I did not mean to scare you.” Kevin said. “Remember? You went through a portal and now you’re in a forest. Nobody knows where, though. Now, if you wouldn’t mind, screaming really isn’t a good idea.”

Haddoe squawked in surprise as Kipp jumped up, knocking her onto the ground. As she fell, the scent of a predator filled her nose. ****, a cougar. Disgruntled at having being so rudely awakened, Haddie shifted into a cougar mid fall, fell on her back, let out another stream of curses(she normally had an impeccable filter, but not when she was an animal, since Maria couldn't understand and pick up her foul language), rolled over and bolted towards the big cat, butting people on her way aside, gently but firmly. Rylie seemed to be attempting conversation-his body was in a tense defensive position. The housecat was understandably terrified. She stared at the cougar-and the man with him. By their stance, it was clear they trusted each other implicitly. She stared at the big cat. What are your intentions? I may not look like much, but I will destroy you and your friend if you even think about harming one of these humans... or the cat.

There's another cougar. And some kid just collapsed. "What's going on?" Maya muttered to Charlie. Either he didn't hear or he was ignoring her, instead staring at something over by the bird-kid.

I just wasted one of our few supplies on waking up some dumb kid. Stupid. "Yeah, what glowy-fingers said, and please try to be a little more careful of getting us eaten." Lilith murmured, staggering to her feet, green eyes flicking around the shadows quickly.
She could've sworn she saw something with glowing golden eyes flash by, and instinctively gripped her dagger harder until her knuckles turned white. Hardly any of these kids probably know how to defend themselves well. She thought, but was interrupted by a steady growling at her side, only to glance down and notice that Tru had began snarling at the shadows, his hackles raised in fear. "Sh, sh, quiet Tru. It's fine." His growls dropped away, but his posture didn't change. He's gotta be really freaked out to get him growling. Not good.

Rylie would have normally shown the dog some mistrust, but he accepted his presence easily in the face of more dangerous creatures. He had done a lot of that lately, putting his trust in things. It was very un-feline, and yet he had to do it. His life was at stake.
Rylie glared into the shadows behind the puma. A creature had been stalking him, he was sure of it. He could just make out the tall biped form. He knew that if the big cat hadn’t been there, the man would’ve been gone. Dead. The man who could talk to him.
He knew that the strange creature only took men when they were alone.
So Rylie would have to trust the cat that called himself a ‘mountain lion.’
Farther in the darkness, he could see creatures who feared the light. They danced away from the healing man’s gleaming hands, in limbo between fear and hunger. They must know, like he did, that the people around him were armed and dangerous.
